General Regards to Commissions

  • I hold the right to deny any person for any reason at any time.

  • A list of items and scenarios I will not draw can be found below.

  • Once your commission is complete, you are allowed to share your art on any media webpage as long as you give credit to me, the artist. You are not to remove my watermark, claim the art as your own creation, nor are you to re-color the artwork. Also note that you are only allowed to make edits to your art with my permission. (If you find that your commission has been stolen please inform me immediately and I will do my best to correct the issue).

  • I prefer contact through means of FA notes, as I can easily save these and keep them on file. Other ways to contact me are through e-mails or through instant messaging on Skype. Please ask me for either of those as I do not readily share them.

  • I expect you to have reference sheets ready as I will not go searching for them. If I am working on a digital piece and I receive a traditional reference sheet I will ask for extra payment unless you can provide digital colors.

  • Please keep in mind that if you would like this piece to be kept private, as in not to be uploaded to any media website, please inform me before I take on payment. Do not be afraid to remind me once I am finished with your piece.

  • In terms of times and due-dates, I am a rather quick artist. I can typically finish a fully colored piece in less than 4 days. Unfortunately, I do have a debilitating illness that sometimes forces me to take long breaks from drawing (especially digitally). If, for whatever reason, I were to end up in the hospital after I receive payment for your commission, and I have not started coloring, I will give you a full refund if requested.

  • I do not usually keep a list of current projects as I usually do not have many at one time. Please ask if you are concerned with time and/or deadlines.

Payments and Refunds

  • I expect payments up-front. I will hold on to this payment until I am finished with your piece, in case refunds are necessary.

  • If a refund is necessary, please make sure it is before my inking stage as you will find below. The only exception is if I am too ill to complete your work in a timely fashion.

  • Payments are to be made to me through PayPal only and in USD. Few circumstances may allow you to pay me in person if I so choose.

  • Sketch commissions will be non-refundable.

The Commission Process
  • While I work on your commission, I will give you updates throughout my stages of work. I expect you to comment and tell me of changes during the various stages or you will be asked to pay extra. I can send these to you through e-mail, Skype, or Dropbox via notes.

    • Sketch: This is the time for you to review the positioning and pose of your character(s). Objects, clothing, and certain body parts (wings, horns, and extremities) are often left out at this point. I will allow up to three (3) changes during this stage.

    • Ink: At this time I expect for you to review expressions and any minor details that were left out in the sketch. Changes will not be made to the pose or positioning of your character(s). I will only allow up to two (2) changes during this stage.

    • Flat Color: Everything up until now is final; I will not make any changes to your character(s) in terms of expressions, clothing, and over-all pose. I will allow up to three (3) changes in regards to color/markings of your character(s).

    • Shading: This is the final stage; there will be no changes whatsoever. At this stage I will add highlights, low lights, shadows and fluids if applicable.

I, as the artist, hold every right to claim ownership to all stages of the commission piece. Only those who purchase the artwork or are featured within the artwork may re-post with my permission as long as my watermark is untouched and credit is given to me by name or a link to my gallery. I have the right to deny any person for any reason at any given time.
